The drive from Seattle to Diablo lake goes through the scenic Cascades loop. Once there, you have a variety of choices to hike around the lake, or enjoy the green waters from the Diablo Lake Overlook. The distance is only 125 miles but prepare for about 3 hours on the road as these are small roads and you might stop on the way for pictures.
